Cloud Gallery, anchored in its vision of "Contemporary Cross-Cultural Dialogue", is dedicated to building a borderless bridge for artistic exchange. Deeply rooted in local culture, we reinterpret the interplay between tradition and modernity through a global lens, exploring new artistic languages born from diverse cultural convergence.

We are honored to present From Ember to Blossom: Sou Pui Kun Printmaking Exhibition, organized by Cloud Gallery. The opening reception will be held at 3:30 PM on April 6, 2025, at Cloud Gallery (Delegação de Cloud Gallery da Área de Barra Em Macau, Beco do Marinheiro n° 7, Ngan Son Rés-do-Chão A). This exhibition marks the first public showcase of Macau contemporary printmaker Sou Pui Kun’s new series created post-2022. It systematically traces the evolution of his signature “UV-Cured Ink Layering Exposure Technique”, featuring approximately 40 pieces/sets of works to delight art enthusiasts. The exhibition will run until May 11, 2025 (closed on Mondays; free admission).

Sou Pui Kun (b. 1959, Macau), a scholar-artist and retired associate professor from the Macao Polytechnic University’s Faculty of Arts and Design, is acclaimed for his groundbreaking “UV-Cured Ink Intaglio Printmaking” technique. His practice spans printmaking, ceramics, and photography. A recipient of numerous international awards, his works are housed in prestigious institutions such as the National Museum of Chinese History (Beijing), Guangdong Museum of Art (Guangzhou), Chongqing Art Museum (Sichuan), and Macao Museum of Art.
